Characters Appearing: Merton and Dean Time of Day: Later afternoon Location(s): Pleasantville Previous Thread Name/Info: N/A NPCs Used: A possible demon Plot Summary: Merton ends up meeting a demon hunter.
It had begun to rain in sheets as soon as school got over with. Merton sighed and decided to wait inside the building until the rain slowed down. It seemed like freaky weather since the weather man didn't say anything about rain today and how it was sunny up until just a few minutes ago. What tops it off as being one of the worst days for Merton J. Dingle is that he parked on the opposite end of the parking lot.
There was no way he is going to run in in the rain to the other end of the parking lot. Sure the other students were doing just that to get the heck out of school. It's just that Merton didn't want to get his books and homework wet due to his backpack not being waterproof. Who really wants to start a ten page paper all over again while half way through it?
Heading back to the school's library, Merton decided to work on his projects there before they kick him out. After his time was up and he had to leave school, whether it is raining or not, he found that it had quit and trekked his way towards his hearse. Getting inside, he decided to head over to The Factory for a bite to eat and relax for a bit.

It was late in the afternoon. Dean has just pulled upin front of The Factory. He turned the engine off and pulled out his cell phone. He dialed Sam's number. Sam answered on the fifth ring. Dean told him to meet him at The Factory. Sam said he would then hung up.
Dean got out of the car and made his way inside The Fatory. Since he had to wait for Sam he figured he might as well get something to eat. He hoped they had pie. He found an empty booth and took a seat by the window. He pulled out the information he got from Sam earlier and looked it over.
He looked up as the waitress came over and handed him the menu. He looked it over carefully then decided on what he wanted. He looked at the waitress.
" I'll have a cup of coffee, black with the chicken club sandwich on rye with extra mayo and a piece of cherry pie"
The waitress wrote his order down and smiled at him. He smiled as he watched her walk back towards the kitchen to place his order. He pulled out his cell phone and sighed as he looked at the time. He still had soe time left before he had to meet up with Sam. He went back to reading looking at the papers in front of him.

While Merton was waiting on his food he had ordered a few minutes ago, he watched as some people from his high school were at the bowling lanes. The Factory being the major hang out for the students as it provided food and games to play. Even the arcade games were taken by people, which left him to dig out his books to study a bit at the table he occupied.
It was a bit rare to see someone older than a high school senior in The Factory that weren't the owner or workers. Merton's eye did catch someone he had never seen before sitting a few tables away. Very suspicious, indeed. He would keep his eye on him while working on homework. A minute later the waitress brought his chicken wings and fries to him.
Rubbing his hands together, he began to shove a french fry into his mouth but ended up spitting it out and taking a sip of his Mountain Dew. “So need to learn to wait but food is so good,†he said to himself. Well back to trying to do his homework but the papers the man was looking at seemed to peek his curiosity. It just sucked he wasn't close enough to read the papers over his shoulders.

Dean looked up and smiled as the waitress put his coffe and sandwich down on the table. He pushed his papers aside and took a sip of the coffee. He smiled. This wa sthe first good cup of coffee he's had in a while. He took a bie out of his sandwhich and smiled appreciately. It was nice to actually eat something other frozen food for once.
He took his time eating. After he finished eating, he went back to looking over the papers. He called the waitress over and asked her for a refill on his coffee. She came bck to his table with the pot and his piece of cherry pie. Dean smiled at her and watched her walk away. He took his time enjoying the pie and the other cup of coffee.
As soon as the piece of pie was done Dean went back to looking over Sam's research. Dean couldn't help but smile at how thorough Sam was. Dean stopped what he was doing suddenly. He had a feeling that he was being watched. He looked over his shoulders and noticed the young guy sitting at a table a few feet down from where he was. He looked at him and gave him a quick smile before going back to his research.

Those papers were starting to occupy this goth's mind as he quickly looked away before noticing Dean smiling at him. Especially since he thought he saw an image of something on them. Could have been his mind playing tricks though. While he was digging into his food, his younger sister, Becky, came up to him with an annoyed look on her face. “What do you want now, Becky? Can't you see that I am eating here? Also you didn't state not to come here before we went to school. So, nyah!†Merton stuck his tongue out at her while there was still a bit of food on it.
Knowing full well that would gross her out and keep her from snapping at him. At least that's what she is known for while in public with him or she just played it like they weren't related. Clearly it was the later right now. “Ew, gross, freakoid. And I was just going to ask for a few bucks so I can get something to eat. That way I won't be the only one of my friend's not eating,†she stated while rolling her eyes.
He couldn't understand her middle school logic. If he was her he would just steal some food from her friends. Merton still complied with fishing out the last of his money and handed it over to his little sister. “I'm still convinced aliens took my real little sister,†he said while she left his sights. Honestly he would of loved it if they could go back to the way things were when they were younger. At least they got along like friends than a stupid sibling rivalry due to social status.

Dean couldn't help but wonder why the boy a few booths down from him kept staring at him. He noticed the wa the boy kept looking at the papers on the table like he was trying to read them. Dean saw him look away quickly when he saw him smile.
He watched as the boy's sister walked in and went over to him. He watched the way they interacted with one another. It made him smile, thinking back to when he and Sam were younger. He shook his head of those thoughts and went back to looking at the papers.
Dean decided to have one mre cup of coffee and another piece of pie. He called the waitress over and smiled when she got to the table.
"I'll take another cup of coffee and another piece of pie, please"
She smiled and set about getting his third cup of coffee and second piece of pie.
Dean's cell phone started buzzing. He reached into his jacket, pulled it out, looked at the screen then answered it. He listened for a few minutes then hung up. Sam had just told him he'd be running a little late and to just sit there and wait for him. Dean had no problem doing that. He glanced over at the boy again then went back to his papers.
