Dislikes: not knowing what order they're meeting in, stetsons/fezs, the silence, having to keep secrets, weeping angels, knowing the brainwashing she was given hurt the Doctor
Habits: Uses terms of endearments; keeping secrets;
Fears: River fears looking into the Doctor's eyes and not seeing any recognition. Another fear is turning around one day and noticing she's still the weapon they've trained herself to be.
Strengths: guns/weaponary, disguise, tenacious, she puts her fear behind her in order to live her life day to day; she's a very independent woman
Weaknesses: the doctor; sometimes too quick to put her life on the line for the Doctor, she's never been cautious, impulsive; doesn't fear death; her mother and father
Powers: River gave up her regeneration abilities in order to save the Doctor, but she's still got the other abilities of a time lord. She'a also fabulous with a gun, can communicate with the TARDIS sometimes more strongly than the Doctor can, and also her hair. It's sometimes superpowered. (Just kidding. But you never know, really, do you?)
Personality: River Song is a living contradiction, living her life backwards. Her meetings with the Doctor have always been out of order, and it is for this reason that she is forced to keep the secrets she does. That doesn't mean she can't have fun while she does it - she's cheeky, feisty, and she enjoys showing off in front of both her parents (who for most of her life don't know they're her parents) and the Doctor.
She's absolutely devoted to him, proven countless times over. The last time she met him, she sacrificed herself so that he could go on living - and from the Doctor's perspective, this was only the first time they'd met. While she does enjoy baffling him (and being one of the only things on this planet or others that he can't understand) she sometimes longs for things that could be normal, that she didn't have to constantly look over her shoulder.
Of course, normalcy is overrated, and she wouldn't rewrite a word of her time with the Doctor. Living backwards is a small price to pay.
She doesn't show mercy, especially when she's protecting people that she cares about. She was trained to be a weapon against the Doctor, and it's not entirely canonized yet as to how she's been brought out of this life. All that's known for sure is she killed a man - the best man she's ever known.
She doesn't let things stand in the way of her: especially not the Doctor. River bosses him around and continually shows that she knows how to do several things better than he does - such as fly the TARDIS, which the TARDIS herself taught her how to do.

History: River Song has never been able to fully tell the Doctor who she is. It's the rules he set during their first meetings: spoilers and the use of a diary to track the todays she's had and the tomorrows he hasn't. Her past is his future, and they are traveling in the opposite directions.
Her parents are Rory and Amy Pond, who had their baby stolen from them when she was only a month old. Because of their traveling in the TARDIS, River's DNA mutated into something near that of a Time Lord's. She's been shown to regenerate.
Her meetings with the Doctor are her most cherished memories. The day she met him, he already knew everything about her. He knew more about her than she knew herself, and following him wasn't something that she had to give much debate to. Of course she'd follow him: the insane, funny, charming mad-man who dropped from the sky in a blue police box.
River spends her days in the Stormcage, a prison she's held in for killing "a good man", one that she describes as "the best man she's ever known". The identify of this man isn't something she can share with the Doctor.
She is absolutely devoted to him, and though he denies it, he's always going to be there every time she feels like jumping out of a space ship. She's shown on several occasions that she's willing to lie down her life for him - including the one time that she actually has. The first time the Doctor met her, from his perspective, she sacrificed herself so that he could continue living, warning him not to rewrite a single word of their time together. Her own death isn't something that concerns her, because she knows that the day he doesn't recognize her is worse than death. It's partly because of this that she's so daring on their adventures together, but mostly because she cares about him and his companions, very deeply.
Her firsts are his lasts, and his lasts are her firsts. When she kisses him for the first time, it's the last time she'll kiss him. When she meets him for the first time, it's the last time that he'll meet her.
They travel together, though many of their adventures together haven't happened yet from the Doctor's perspective. Picnicking on Asgard, an adventure with Jim the fish, Easter Island - these are things that River has done and has to keep secret from him, because his timeline hasn't caught up with hers. It's a constant balancing game, of giving too much away and keeping too much secret.
The first time she met him with this face, she tried to kill him because it was what she was built for. But when she realized, after everything, he still cared about all of them - even her - she attempted to make a change.
She had to try, after all.
River gave up her remaining regenerations to save the Doctor's life. While she's still a Time Lord, it means that this is the last time. If she dies, she's not coming back.
Name: Chelsea; Azzy
Age: 19
Contact: some of you have my aim
Other characters: Not yet
Role play sample: It was like an itch, under her skin: one that said something was wrong, something was happening. Something that she needed to stop. The curse of the Time Lords, of course: seeing every moment in time and feeling the hum of it in your head. It wasn't as bad for her: she was only part time lord, but on bad days, it was still a curse.
Today was one of those days. Something was wrong here. She could feel it. While she hadn't heard from the Doctor, she could feel something here... something humming inside her mind and itching underneath her skin. Someone. And it wasn't the Doctor.
She swallowed, heavily. It was a common misconception that River Song feared nothing. Of course she feared. She feared every time she watched the Doctor do one more stupid thing that almost cost him his life - she feared every single time Rory pulled another brilliant 'dying' stunt. But courage, she'd learned, wasn't the absence of fear.
It was the overcoming of it.
And that was something River knew how to do.
She didn't feel the Doctor close, but when she turned the corner, it was most definitely the TARDIS in her line of sight. The Doctor's TARDIS was the last to survive, just as he was the last of the Time Lords. But the man who stepped out of the TARDIS (there was no other TARDIS, but this one was different than his, but it didn't make sense, it couldn't) wasn't the Doctor.
For River, seeing the Doctor with a new face wasn't a shock. She knew them all, even though she was never quite sure of their orders. The on she knew the most was the eleventh regeneration of the thirteen she knew of, but this man, stepping out of the TARDIS, most certainly time lord... she didn't have a single memory of him.
It would have scared her much less if she'd been able to recognize his mind, but it was foreign. Her mind jumped into activity, hearts beating a rapid tattoo against her ribcage. She was almost certain they'd leave a mark. The blood rushed to her head and her breathing came quicker, too quick. She had a single second to make her decision, one that would have to be made without weapons. One generally didn't have weapons on them after casually walking out of their prison cell.
Her steps were the silent tread of a girl who'd been taught to leave no mark but the one she intended to make, and she was behind him in one silent instant.
It was stupid, she decided in the very second that she did it. She was doing this without any back up, but trying to contact the Doctor would take too long - and if this man, this Time Lord who shouldn't, couldn't possibly exist had just left his TARDIS ... maybe he wasn't alright enough to help her anyway.
That single thought gave the final thrum of fear to push her forward, and in a single second, she had him pushed against the alley wall.
"Who are you?" She growled, one hand fisted in the collar of his shirt. "And what've you done to him?"
