Characters Appearing:Jacob & Lilith Time of Day: Nighttime Location(s): Church Previous Thread Name/Info: n/a NPCs Used: Possibly people in the church Plot Summary: Jacob meets his first demon
Jacob was alone, a concept that he had never experienced before. He had always had his mother to guide him and take care of him, now without her, he was lost and alone. The giant man made his way through the city, his strange mismatched eyes keeping an look out as he took each step. He was eerily silent which only seemed to add to his menacing appearance. He silently stalked about the city that was a short distance from where he had set up house. It was a large abandoned house that was remotely in good shape, even though it had been neglected for years. It wasn't quite as grand as the Blackwell, but it had shown itself to be a good spot to live and take his victims back too.
Currently, he had hidden a few bodies in the aging building, but he hadn't found a tattooed person who could replace his playmate from before. All seemed to be sinners and they all needed to die! He finally came to a halt in front of a sizable Catholic church which looked more ominous then welcoming. It was a perfect fit for the menacing looking behemoth who carefully eased the door open and stepped inside. Candles illuminated the nearly dark church, putting much of the statues that littered the building into eerie shadows. It had a creepy air about it, but Jacob took no noticed as he continued to walk down the aisle with eerily quiet footsteps. Finally, he came to a stop beside a pew which he carefully moved into it, sitting down on the end. In silence he sat there, his strange gaze fixed on the large Jesus that was nailed to the cross.

Lilith had watched this man for what seemed like a very long time, he was very interesting. Quite and deadly, but also very powerful for a mortal. He tortured girls and found that very interesting, she was very happy to see this and knew he would be perfect for her. So she decided to show herself, the church she had seen many years ago. When it was new and even had it's beauty, for a place to worship any way. But she watched it age, wither and die until he moved in. Soon the doors opened up, wind pushing them over.
Any light in there would flicker as the sound of foot steps was heard, Lilith showed herself to this man. She had a smile on her face as she walked a few feet, until finally she stood in front of him. Lilith knew she had to be very careful, since he could see sin. She was the first demon, ancient so she could do what ever she wanted really. Her eyes not showing any secrets, as she smiled some.
"I remember this place when it was new, Ive seen it fall apart. But Ive paid close attention to you Jacob, and like what Ive seen" her voice carried in the church.

Jacob turned his bald head sharply to Lilith, he hadn't expected anyone to speak to him, especially a woman who wasn't his mother. She was a stranger to him. Who was she? His instincts were telling him something was off yet he couldn't help but stare up at her. His mismatched eyes of blue and brown lifted upwards, coming to a stop at her eyes as he tried to read them. She had to be a sinner yet he couldn't see any cue inside those brown eyes. He distressed him a little yet it also made him curious. How did she know his name? There was no way she could know it, law enforcement didn't even know it!
She couldn't have been a human being yet he couldn't think what she could be. Was she an angel? She certainly had the beauty of one with her beautiful soft locks, perfect face with full lips and flawless skin. But it still troubled him, he couldn't see the sin her eyes. It was like she was able to block it. Maybe she was sin-less, if she was an angel. There was clear questions in his mismatched eyes yet he didn't ask them with his voice. He furrowed his brow in confusion, he didn't understand what she meant by her words. If she was an angel maybe she was there to tell him how proud God was of him like she had always told him. But he was still wary of her, after all she was still a stranger to him.

Lilith smiled at him as she put her hands up "I mean you no harm, and I know you have many questions. First off, I am no angel. I am much older then most of the angels you have heard about. My name is Lilith, and Ive been watching you for many years. That's how I know your name, I know what your mother did to you. Caging you like an animal, but your no animal. You are a warrior Jacob, and I need a warrior like you. One not afraid to do the kind of work you do, but right now there is no god. He doesn't know of your work, because he is in hiding. His children don't even know where he is."
With a gesture of her hands a jar of eye balls appeared in her hands and she placed it by him, then stepped away. Her way of a peace offering, and to show she meant no harm. But she knew everything about him, she sat down across from him, leaving the Aile to separate them. "I won't let anyone hurt you again Jacob. I see something very important within you." She wondered if he would wonder or ask what she was.

Jacob watched her curiously with his eyes narrowed as they studied the woman in front of him. He didn't trust her, but it was understandable considering the horrible things he had taught and experienced in his life which had been because of a woman. She proclaimed she meant him no harm, but he wasn't sure if that should put him at ease or if he should keep his senses alert. Jacob just wasn't sure what he should feel about this beautiful stranger. He tilted his head curiously as she described herself to him, telling him that she was something far older then most angels which confused him. He hadn't a clue what could be older then an angel. Was she lying to him? He just wasn't sure.
Jacob looked almost like a confused child as he looked at her face like he were trying to read her face for some cue he could interpret. His mismatched eyes widened when she mentioned his mother. No, he didn't want to hear it! He didn't want to think about the cage! The memories of the large cage just big enough for a small boy to sit in with papers and magazines around him. He remembered how terrifying and humiliating it had been to endure that treatment. It had been horrible! She was right, he wasn't an animal! Jacob was sure about that, he wasn't an animal that should be caged up.
Warrior, that word struck a cord in him. She was calling him a warrior. It made him think of his fanatic mother when she had proclaimed him as the Hand of God. He had been a warrior for her cause, but now this Lilith wanted him to be her warrior. However, once again she confused him. Why was God gone? Why was he in hiding? It couldn't be true! He had done it all for him. It was painful to know that everything he had done had not been seen by the one being he had done it for in his name. He shook his head at her words much the way a small boy might when he heard something he didn't like. It just couldn't be true!
He raised his brow as he glanced at the peace offering she had placed beside him. Carefully he lifted the jar which was full of human eyeballs like the ones he had collected. Jacob was clearly fascinated by her present, his lips curved back to smile at the clear jar. When she spoke to him again, his gaze turned sharply to her, holding the gift close to him. “Never?” he asked abruptly in an extremely hushed voice, inquiring about her promise that she wouldn't let anyone hurt him.

She watched him as he held her gift close to his chest, for once Lilith didn't want to hurt him. And Lilith didn't plan on using him either, she nodded. "I know you don't trust me, but I consider that to be very smart. You do not know me or what I am" taking a deep breath she closed her eyes and when she opened them they were pure white. "If you looked into my soul, you would see many sin's, you would want me dead. I am a sinner Jacob, I will admit that. But I died once, I'm sure you would know of my father if I told you his name" She closed her eyes and opened them, they were normal again.
"Lucifer, the fallen angel. God struck him down because he didn't want to bow down to humanity, no one should have to bow before anyone unless it is there choice Jacob." She said simply, looking up at the cross she sighed some. "I came back and got a second chance by my father, I plan on being different, god is gone because he is testing his angels. Testing there faith, see our true forms are different. We have to take over a human in order to be on this earth. If you saw the true form of an angel, it would burn your eyes out, it's happened once to one human. Demons, we look like a thick dark mist. I am the first demon, the true child of the devil. "
She didn't know why she was telling him this, but trust had to come from some place. Looking into his eyes she smiled some looking at him. "I will admit I am the mother of all demons, but I'm not like them. I do not agree with just going on a killing spree without a plan" she said simply and stood up. "No matter what you think of me Jacob Goodnight, you are under my protection and no one will ever fuck with you. If they do I will kill them, simple as that"

Jacob almost smiled when she more or less called him smart. His mother hadn't even called him that, everybody always thought he was a simpleton or mentally disability who liked to kill. The truth was he was a messed up individual because of his mother's horrible upbringing, he had been normal once, but that was a long time ago. Looking at him now, no one would have guessed he had been a sweet little boy who had no desire to kill. His eyes widened as he saw her eyes transformed into an eerie white. If he had thought she was human, all of that went right out the window at that moment. He frowned at her while she confessed to him that she was in fact a sinner and that she had died once before, but her father, Lucifer had brought her back to life.
His eyes had narrowed once more, reflecting his murderous desire to kill a sinner yet there was a hint of wary curiosity as he studied the pretty demon. “Mother,” he muttered the word as he looked down at the jar in his arms which he was softly caressing. Jacob should have wanted to kill her, send her back to Hell, back to her father, but for some reason he didn't. Perhaps it was fact he was so lost, so confused and so angry and the fact she stirred so many different emotions in him. She was evil yet she was so kind to him and wanted to protect him. She would kill for him. “Kill for me? Like mom?” he asked with an expression that seemed more fitting on a child then a grown man. Jacob rarely spoke, but she was one of the few who actually drawn words from him much like his mother had.

She looked at him with a smile on her face as she placed her hand on his cheek. "I would never mistreat you Jacob, your mother was a monster. Many people have considered me a monster, but Ive changed. But what your mother failed to tell you, was everyone sins, it's life. No one is pure Jacob, but your free now and no one will cage you like an animal again" Withdrawing her hand she smiled even more at him. "Your mother is gone Jacob, and now you have a new life one with a demon ho will protect you."
Looking at him she sighed some "I know I have no right to ask for your trust, but we have to start some place." She said softly and she sighed a little bit, unsure of what she was going to do with him. Taking a deep breath she sighed a bit, she could see into his eyes and see what his mother did to him. It broke her heart and demons were not supposed to give a damn. But she did for some strange reason, looking into his eyes, taking a deep breath she looked into his eyes and saw something no one else did. A scared child in a powerful mans body.

The moment she touched him, he acted like he had been shocked, as if he expected her to hurt him since his mother had said he was the Hand of God. Didn't that mean demons couldn't touch him or hated him? Clearly that was not the case. Jacob peered down with puzzlement at the female demon who was smiling while she spoke so sweetly to him. She was promising to never hurt him or cage him like his mother had done. She told him that everyone sinned and no one was pure, though his mother had put him through so much torture to cleanse him to make him pure.
Now she was telling him that everything he was taught was wrong and his mother had lied to him. To say he didn't take it well would have been an understatement. He shook his head hard, it couldn't be true! It couldn't be lies! Though in his heart he knew Lilith was telling him the truth, after all he had killed his mother because she was judged as a sinner. He had seen the evil in her eyes. He was definitely like a child who had been raised with certain beliefs that were insane, but when they were forced to face the truth it was difficult to accept.

She looked at him "It's the human condition my friend, but someone needs to undo the damage your mother has done. But it's a new start for everyone, even you Jacob. Your mother was judged before she had you, I do not understand why s he did what she did. But she thought she knew everything, but she didn't. But enough about your mother, because I know it's upsetting you. I can feel your anger, hate and confusion." She said softly as she sighed a little bit, looking at him she smiled softly to him.
"If you let me Jacob I will be your friend, someone you can really trust. But I know trust is earned, and I will do what ever I have to to earn your trust. You have been through a lot, and we will take it very slow" She said softly, looking into his eyes, and squeezed his hand lovingly, a big smile on her face showed she was being honest. She hated his mother for what she did to him, making him more of a weapon of her selfishness. Wanting to control him because she couldn't control anything else in her life.

Jacob finally stopped trying to block out what she said when she finally realized how upset she was making him by discussing his mother. Lilith was right, it bothered him a great deal. His mother had been his everything for so long, she was the one who had taught and trained him to be the powerful creature he was before the demon mother. She had been the only woman he had loved, all other women had been sinners or objects of desire he had kept for himself until his mother had forced him to give them up. Now that she was gone, done in by his hand, he was lost, but continued the work they had started.
Jacob knew what he was suppose to do to Lilith, yet he did not do it. Instead he stood there, towering over her with a questioning look on his smooth features. Why was she smiling at him? He couldn't figure that out, no one had ever smiled at him like she was doing. His mismatched eyes peered down at his hand that she was squeezing so lovingly. She was touching him willingly, no one other then his mother had done that either. Lilith wanted to be his friend yet he still wasn't sure what her intention was towards him. Gently he tilted his bald head as his strange eyes lifted to meet hers once more. His hand not held by the demon rose up, his fingertips touching her pretty locks curiously.

Lilith smiled at him as he touched her, and she sighed softly. "I am sorry Ive upset you, I didn't mean to. So we will no longer keep discussing the past, since it only hurts you. I hope in time you will see me as your friend, but even I know respect and trust is earned. And I plan on earning it" But as she was about to say something someone bursts through the door, it was a human and she narrowed her eyes. It was a police officer, and he had his gun pointed at Jacob. She narrowed her eyes and she was very upset.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you, Jacob is under my protection now!" She called out, the cop said nothing and just shot off his gun. She threw herself in front of Jacob as she took the hit, she cried out a little but nothing serious. Her eyes turned white as she walked over to him, he kept shooting her. It hurt like hell but it wasn't going to kill her, she grabbed him by the throat. "Wrong choice human" She yelled and broke his neck and threw him in the corner. She was bleeding, placing her hand over the wound she walked up to him.
"It's alright, I told you id protect you. Do you have anything I can use to remove the bullets?" She asked kindly.

She was so pretty this mother of demons, though the things ingrained in him was screaming for him to murder her and take those lovely eyes out of her skull. He didn't quite understand why he didn't do these things to her. While she spoke his hand lifted from her hair to touch her face right next to one of her eyes like he were debating what he should do. At the sudden interruption, he growled as he turned to face whoever it was. It turned out to be a police officer and his weapon was pointed right at him. He was prepared to attack, but he was surprised when the demon suddenly proclaimed he was under her protection. What truly shocked him was the fact she threw herself in front of him to protect him from the bullets. He watched as she took each shot without it seeming to truly affect her before she ended it all with a snap of the foolish cop's neck, throwing him like a rag doll into the corner of the room.
Jacob instantly lost the desire to kill her, after she had just killed to protect him. He looked down at her bloody wound which she said was alright, but asked if he had anything to take the bullets out. He nodded his bald head, he would guide her to where he lived. The scent of rot seemed to lingering in the walls. On the floor was a single mattress, candles littering the room with several mason jars with eyeballs inside. Carefully he added her gift to his collection before he turned to her, gesturing she sit. He had gathered a few tools just in case he needed them, though he was rather limited in several ways. Jacob searched through them, he finally located some pliers which looked like they be good for plucking the bullets out. The giant sunk down in front of her, showing them to her as if to ask 'will this do?'

She knew what he was debating but she wasn't afraid, she wasn't going to run away, scream or kill him. For once she actually wanted to keep a promise, since she was a demon. Demons always lied, but something in him made her want him. Lilith understood what his mother had done to him, however she didn't agree with it. And Lilith loved to torture people, but this man was very interesting. And was hurt she knew that, he seemed so surprised when she threw herself in front of him, taking bullets that were meant for him.
But after the cops were dealt with, she followed him to where ever he was taking her. When he motioned for her to sit, she did in fact sit. She could smell something rotting, but it didn't bother her one bit. Sitting down she watched him looking through his things, she did smile though when he put her gift to him beside a jar of eyes he had already collected. When he finally showed her a tool to use, she nodded some and smiled at him. "Awww yes thank you Jacob, that will work perfectly" She said kindly and took it from him. Slowly removing her jacket, wounds on her stomach and arm. They looked bad, and instead of red blood it was black and thick.
Putting her jacket down beside her, she began to take out the bullets. Hissing and growling a little, but nothing to bad. Once the bullets were all gone, she closed her eyes and relaxed. And right before her eyes, her wounds began to heal. She knew she would need some blood after this, but her wounds were all healed and she opened up her eyes. Flashing white for a moment. Then back to brown, she placed her hand on his cheek. Bending down she kissed his forehead. "Thank You Jacob" She said kindly.

Jacob settled on the floor in front of her, observing her intently while disrobed herself of her coat. He frowned when he saw the bloody wounds littered over her delicate body. These wounds had been meant for him, but she had willingly took them to protect him for a reason unknown to him. However, in his way, he was grateful to her. The sight of blood didn't bother him, yet the look of her blood did unnerve him. Her lifeblood looked dark, too dark to be normal. It proved him that she was not a normal human, other then the fact she had survived multiple gunshot wounds which would have normally killed a human being. It made him recall how it had felt to be shot himself, the feeling of the bullet passing into his head. The wound hadn't been properly taken care, so a lot of had been left to fester, leaving quite a nasty spot on the back of his skull. In utter silence he watched as she removed the bullets, literally plucking them out. He never left her while she tended to her injuries with the pliers then, if by magic, they began to heal in front of his eyes. If there was any doubt in his mind that she wasn't human, it was completely absent at that moment.
He had never encountered anyone quite like Lilith, demons were common in his beliefs, but he had never met one until now. Oddly, he felt more connected to a demon woman then to the entire human race. She even treated him better then his own mother, she had even threw herself in front of a bullet for him. No one had ever done so much for him. Jacob was puzzled by it all, but he had decided not to attack her because she had protected him, even if she was a demon. She certainly didn't look like a demon, though he knew from his mother they could take pleasing shapes like the attractive nearly naked girls in the magazines. He was battling his ingrained instincts to kill and his beliefs to work as the hand of God, finding himself siding with Lilith. His cheek rested comfortably against the palm of her hand while her lips came to kiss his forehead. That happened to be the first time a pretty girl had given him anything nice in way of affection. For some odd reason he had a desire to call her mother, but it was quickly shoved out because she was not his mother and it didn't seem right calling a demon that, even though his mother had been nothing better. However, She was Lilith, the mother of demons, but still a mother.
