Characters Appearing: Tommy, Kimberly and Dean Time of Day: Afternoon Location(s): Park in Reefside, California Previous Thread Name/Info: Continuing from a previous site. lol NPCs Used: Plot Summary: Tommy has took it in his own hands to find someone that can exorcise a demon from Kimberly that Lucifer had planted with a fake power coin which Ethan had destroyed. Plans go awry when trying to exorcise the demon....
A few weeks upon searching websites about demon possession and how to exorcise a demon proved to be futile. All book and movie myths and whatnot thrown into the mix. Tommy had been fed up and was about to quit searching until someone on a forum private messaged him. Everyone on that site seemed to not understand this is a real situation and was giving him false and snarky comments. Either trying to help or was not helping at all.
He had taken the message lightly as not to get his hopes up too high. After a few messages back and forth he felt that this person knew he was telling the truth. Something that made Tommy tell him where to meet them at. Of course with it being a different town they had to set up a date and time as well. Now all he had to do is find where Kimberly is and try to coax her into meeting this person.
"I really hope things go well," sighed Tommy as he lightly rolled his shoulder. It still hurt but not as much as the actual stiffness caused. His wounds were healing nicely as long as he didn't over do it. His stomach pretty much healed over but his shoulder still had some healing time left. Something Hayley was making sure to check in on if one of his students weren't around.
Tomorrow he'd get a hold of Kimberly and see if she is still in Reefside or not. Then see if she wanted to get together before telling her about all of this.
~~~~
With luck, Tommy had gotten a hold of Kimberly and asked her to meet him at a park. It did not take him long to get there himself in his black jeep. Unsure how long it would take her to get there he opted to sitting on a bench to wait. He had brought a book with him to do some leisurely reading until she showed.
Reading glasses perched on his nose and eyes focused on the book, but he could still hear what is going on around him. A few kids playing; some people taking a stroll with or without their dog; some people kicking back and enjoying the day. Always on alert in case of an attack. Unless the book ended up absorbing all his attention, which wasn't the case this time.
Kimberly curled up in a fetal position as tears continued to stream down her face. Part of her wondered how she even had tears left to cry, and another part of her knew the tears would never stop. There would never be an escape, her will would never be her own again. It didn't matter that the dark power coin Lucifer had given her was gone, the power he held over her remained, as did the demon.
"That's right, little girl." The demon Meg said, standing over Kim's body. "You're gonna stay with us forever. There's nothing anyone can do for you."
Smirking inwardly, the demon left Kimberly alone in the walls of her mind, deciding to see what Tommy had in mind. He and "Kimberly" had of course discussed ways to free her. What his plan of action was remained to be seen, but Meg was feeling a bit of morbid curiosity.
Meg walked through the park, spotting Tommy sitting on a park bench with his back to her. She leaned against a tree, still a distance away, wondering what card (if any) he had.
((Thought it'd be fitting to use Meg. She knows Dean well. *evil smirk* Sorry for making you guys wait so long!))
Dean had just pulled up to the Reefside park. He shut the engine off and got out of the car. He opened the trunk and took out his flask of holy water, his dad's journal and Ruby's demon knife. He put the flask in the inside pocket of his leather jacket and tucked the knife in the waitsband of his jeans. He kept his dad's journal in his hand and shut the trunk. He took a look around and took in a deep breath. He exhaled and slowly walked into the park. He was meeting someone named Tommy.
As he walked through the park, he looked around for any signs of anything out of the ordinary. Seeing that everything seemed to be fine, he relaxed as he continue dto walk through the park. He made his way to a bench and spotted someone sitting on it with hi shead in a book. Figuring it was Tommy, Dean made his way over slowly. He stopped in front of the guy and cleared his throat.
"Dr. Tommy Oliver?"
He stood there silently and waited for the guy to look up.
Engrossed in his book, Tommy was wondering when and if Kimberly was coming. It should of hit him that the demon within her could be telling her not to show up. But he was hoping it wouldn't turn out that way. As the minutes ticked by in silence, the high school teacher had finished half of his book without realizing it. Not until a voice called out to him. A male voice.
Putting a bookmark in place, he closed the book and removed his glasses, putting them in a case and in his pocket. “Dean Winchester, I presume?†he asked. Funny how he looked like an absolutely normal guy but looks can be deceiving considering he is the Black Dino Power Ranger when not teaching at the local high school.
“You came faster than I thought you would,†he said as he stood up. Furrowing his brows, he began to get rather concerned. “I was expecting Kimberly to show up but she hasn't.†Tommy's intuition was beginning to ring like an alarm bell and he was hardly ever wrong when it concerned a friend in danger. He began to look around the park in case he could see her walking along towards the bench he told her to meet him at.
Dean watched as Tommy looked for Kimberly. Dean started to feel like he was being watched again. Going into hunter mode, he looked around, feeling as if he was paranoid. He didn't see anything out of the ordinary so he relaxed and looked back toTommy.
"Kimberly didn't get here yet? Are you sure you told her which bench to meet you at?"
Dean couldn't help but get slightly worried. For Kimberly not to be here something had to be wrong. Dean pulled out his EMF meter and casually scanned the park. The meter didn't pick up anything. Dean sighed, put the EMF meter away and looked back at Tommy.
"Tommy, I need you to tell me everything that happened to Kimberly. Start from the beginning."
In order to understand what the situation was, Dean needed to know everything Tommy knew. That was the only way he was going to be able to able to save Kimberly. He took a seat next to Tommy on the bench.
Tommy looked deadpanned when Dean asked him if Kimberly knew which bench to meet at. Of course he told her but she also knew him, so she wouldn't have gotten lost. He did appear amused when Dean pulled out a device and wondered exactly what it could be. “Of course. We've known each other since high school, so she knows what I look like after we meet up awhile back,†he said. “So what is that device?â€
If Hayley was here she probably would of known or had a good guess. Letting out a small groan, he began to retrace what had happened to Kimberly. Or at least what he knew from her and from fighting her. Basically it was not that much and he wondered if Dean could figure it out on such little information on the demon within his former girlfriend and still crush.
“All I can tell you is that Lucifer gave her a tainted power coin that she used to have long ago. Since then she hasn't been herself and while fighting a demon to protect her and keep her from being taken, a friend of mine destroyed the power coin in the process,†he reported.
Dean noted to himself that Tommy looked mildly amused at Dean's question.
"Of course. We've known each other since high school, so she knows what I look like after we meet up awhile back" he said. "Sowhat is that device?"
Dean couldn't help but smile as tommy asked him what the EMF reader was. He lookeed at him.
"This is an EMF Reader. It basically lets me know if there's a ghost or demon nearby. I made it myself"
He said the last part with a little smirk on his face. Thinking back to what Tommy said, Dean guessed his question from before wa skinda silly seeing as how Kimberly and Tommy were good friends.
"AllI can tell you is that Lucifer gave her a tainted power coin that she used to have long ago. Since then she hasn't been herself and while fighting a demon to protect her and keep her from being taken, a friend of mine destroyed the power coin in the process" he reported.
Lucifer. Great. That was the last person Dean needed to deal with right now. He should have known the fallen angel was behind this somehow. Dean knew that Lucifer must have sent one of his low-level demons after Kimberly. The only question now was who was it and does he save Kimberly before its too late.Dean also knew that he was going to need more information about the coin. He looked at Tommy.
"Do you remeber what the coin looked like? Do you maybe have a picture of it or something?"
Dean looked around again. He held the EMF reader up and quickly scanned the park. The meter was quiet then suddenly went off. Dean looked at the meter then at th espot where the meter was pointing. He saw a shadow hiding behind a tree across from where he and Tommy were. He looked at Tommy.
"The meter's going off like crazy. There's a demon near by. Stay here"
He calmly walked away from Tommy and walked towards the tree. As he walked, the signal on the meter got stronger. He stopped by the tree and lowered the meter. He put his hand on the gun he had in his waistband and took a deep breath. He was ready for whoever or whatever was behind that tree.
"Show yourself!"
