Having heightened hearing was a pain at times as while focused on one thing meant that everything else was a whisper in the background. Delano clearly heard when Clavo asked Doug for something in broken English. At least Doug has been teaching the kid English so others can understand him. Not every one knew Spanish and he only knew a few words here or there. Most common used words, at that.
At least Tom seemed to have paid attention and grabbed the boy a bowl of ice cream. Obviously what he was asking for as desert. A few tears rolled down his cheeks as onscreen Simba began trying to wake his father up. This is when Doug actually spoke to him than to Tom or Clavo. Crap! Now they were going to make fun of him. At least any other guy would make fun of him for crying over a kid's movie.
“S-shut up, Doug!†he stated while wiping his cheeks with his hands. His voice even cracked with emotion and he hated how it sounded to him. Although it caused Doug's nephew to get up from his spot on the floor and give the feral mutant a hug.
“It's ok,†said Clavo.
“I know, little dude. It's just a very emotional part of the movie,†he said while hugging him back. “Now better finish eating your ice cream or your Uncle Doug will eat it on you.â€

Hanson and Penhall continued to laugh at Delano. Sure, Hanson thought it was sad that Simba’s dad had died and that he would cry too but to watch someone other than him feel the need to cry was just hilarious. Hanson stopped a moment and listened to Clavo say that it was okay and hug him. Hanson then shook his head at Delano’s next statement about it being an emotional part of the movie. Doug started laughing again.
“Its emotional for the pansies.” he laughed and Hanson shook his head, then punched Penhall in the arm. Penhall let out an ow and looked at Hanson and punched him back. Hanson merely glared at Penhall before deciding that he would get his friend back at work tomorrow, and that usually meant that Hanson’s pranks were terrible and immoral.
Hanson then laughed at Delano saying that Doug will eat all the ice cream. “yeah, Clavo be careful. Doug is such a fattie. He wont think twice about it.” Hanson laughed and Clavo did as well, now pulling his ice cream away from Doug and moving closer to Delano.
Hanson then looked at Doug and gave him a weird face when he saw that Doug really wanted some ice cream. “Dude, just go get it…” Hanson said to him and rolled his eyes.

Doug was on the end of a receiving glare from Delano. A low growl was rising in the back of his throat but he quickly stopped it from escaping. Would be very odd for Doug and Clavo to hear him actually growl like a wild animal. Not in the way people try to mimic either. “So sue me that I have emotions. That does not make me a pansy either,†said Delano, annoyed.
He wouldn't fight in front of Clavo and kept his mouth from saying some very unpleasant things. Why did guys that don't hide their emotion get called pansies or worse? It was something he couldn't understand. Another thing is how women loved those types of guys that hide their emotions. He focused back on the movie while trying to tune out Doug. However he had to crack a smile when Tom had called him a fattie.
“Yeah it'll just go straight to your hips, so you can only have a little, Doug,†said Delano figuring he would have to buy more in the next day or so already. Soon he cracked up laughing as the hyenas stopped short on the bramble patch while chasing Simba. Poor Banzai ended up falling in.

Hanson laughed at the fight that Delano and Doug were having. He looked down at Clavo who looked very confused. Hanson looked at the empty pizza boxes and he picked them up. He headed into the kitchen to throw them away in the recycle bin that was by the garbage can. Hanson continued to do a little more clean up before he sat back down on the couch, in the same spot that he was sitting in before. Hanson looked at Doug who was now talking to Clavo, saying something in Spanish before looking at Delano again who started speaking.
“I am not fat, just big boned” Doug responded to Delano before giving them both, them being Delano and Hanson, a sad face and turning his attention back to the movie pouting like a kid.
Sure, Hanson knew Doug was just kidding. “oh lord Doug, quite being, what did you say before? A pansy?” Hanson laughed and looked down at Clavo who was laughing as well. Clavo had offered some of his ice cream to Hanson and Hanson accepted a bite before he watched Clavo walk over to Doug and was now sitting on his lap.
Hanson felt bad for the kid. He knew his back story, hell he and Doug even went to find his aunt who Doug had previously married. Hanson felt bad when he found out that Doug’s wife had passed away and he felt bad that Clavo’s mom wanted a better life for the kid and is now separated from him. Hanson couldn’t imagine it, being separated from his kids, when he has them anyway.

“Big boned?†He arched a brow. “I think that's what fat people say. Me? I'm all muscle, baby.†Delano shrugged out of his black trench coat and started flexing, the fabric of his short sleeves pulling taut against his skin. Ironic how he never ended up fat with all the food he eats but he also works out. Plus having a fast metabolism helps too.
When Hakuna Matata started on the television, the feral mutant couldn't help humming along and acting along side Timon. A great song he was having a hard time keeping himself from singing along but they never said no humming or grooving with the music. Besides this kept a fight from breaking out between him and Doug. A slight motto he could relate to with his life.
“Disney songs rock! Nothing wrong with classics.†Yes he will admit it! Disney movies will always be apart of his life and gives the edge off real life with how charming and perfect they can be. “Jafar, Hades and Scar will always be my favorite Disney male villains. As far as female villains go I would have to pick Yzma, Ursula and Cruella de Vil. Who do you guys like for villains?â€
Delano couldn't pick between Disney princesses on who he liked more. Or if he were to ask which one he would date/marry he wouldn't be able to pick.

Hanson rolled his eyes at the two. They were fighting like immature children, something Hanson wanted to stay out of but when Delano said that big boned is what fat people say that made Hanson laugh really hard. It sounded true, like that really what fat people said. Hanson looked at Clavo who was confused by all of it. “don’t worry kid, I’m with ya.” Hanson said with a small smile.
Doug then started singing Hakuna Matata with Clavo. That made Hanson smile a little. He wished he could meet the decent girl, the one for him and have a kid so that the three of them could do things like this. Hanson didn’t know how many kids he wanted but sooner or later the undercover cop knew that he wanted them.
Hanson shrugged at Delano’s question. “I like maleficent. She was awesome. Her and Captain Hook. Gotta love Peter Pan. The red queen is also awesome.” Hanson smiled at Delano. It was true. Peter Pan would always be one of those amazing classics that Hanson knew he would love. He looked at Doug to see what Doug would say but the other cop, his partner was still singing along with Clavo. That made Hanson laugh again.
“what about your favorite movie?” Hanson asked Delano curiously.

“I swear Neverland is in the heart. Sure you can't stay looking like a kid forever but you can still have the heart of one. Like now!†said Delano as he motioned to the movie and Doug singing with Clavo. “Although it would be fun to have stayed a kid sometimes.†He had to think about a favorite movie. A hard choice since there were so many good Disney movies out there.
Running his fingers through his hair, he finally answered. “Live-action I will have to say Enchanted. Animated I will go with The Fox and the Hound. I've read the book but Disney did it better.†One would think the books were always better than the movies. Not always the case though.
The feral mutant decided to go grab a bowl of ice cream before it got ate up. At least this time he would try to save Tom some. As he was scooping out three scoops into a bowl, he watched the movie out of the corner of his eye and was paying attention to what the others were up to. “Y'know, I think I should of got Root Beer for Root Beer Floats. Always a next time though,†he said.

“I would love to be a kid again, just not have to live through my teenage years. Those sucked.” Hanson agreed to Delano’s statement about being a kid again. Hanson would love to have his dad ack, but he wouldn’t want to loose him again. He wished that his father wouldn’t have been on parole that night, valentines day, the night he died. Hanson hated thinking about it. He looked at Doug Penhall and Clavo who were still singing. He knew that he probably would have made the same choice his father made that night too, so he couldn’t blame him for anything.
Enchanted was a good movie. Hanson’s favorite live action movie was Tuck Everlasting, but he wouldn’t tell that to anyone. He loved a lot of Dinsey’s stuff and knew that the man was a genius.
“we could make beer floats!” Doug said jumping up and doing as he said. He started drinking it and made a sour face. “okay, bad idea.” Doug then said and Hanson just laughed really hard.
“Clavo, uncle Doug can be kind of a moron, so don’t you dare become like him.” Hanson laughed and Clavo smiled. Hanson shooked his head as Doug poured the ice cream mixed with beer down the drain. “we need brandy ice cream, that’s what we need.” Doug then said as he walked back over to the couch and sat down.

Beer floats? To someone who makes a lot of crazy concoctions for food that seemed like a very bad idea. “I agree with you there, Tom. My teenager years sucked but my kid years were rocking,†said Delano as he watched Doug make his beer float. A little irked he was bringing out beer in front of his nephew. Weren't cops suppose to tell kids not to drink and all that jazz? As long as Clavo knew better, which it appears he does.
He snickered when Doug made a sour face. “I could of told you that is a bad idea, Doug. Not everything goes with beer. And next time you try that again I'll ban you from any food in this house that I buy! Wasting ice cream like that.†He shook his head while tsking. “Food abuser!†Sticking a big spoonful of ice cream into his mouth.
Now that was a bad idea as now his mouth was very cold and was starting to get an ice cream headache from it. With no other choice, Delano let what he didn't swallow ooze out of his mouth and into his bowl. Left eye half closed as he waited for the coldness to dissipate. The sound of brandy ice cream made him shake his head.
“What is it with you wanting to mix liquor and ice cream?†he asked as he took a smaller bite of ice cream now.
