Characters Appearing: Norman/Green Goblin, open to others Time of Day: After midnight Location(s): New York City Previous Thread Name/Info: N/A NPCs Used: N/A Plot Summary: The Green Goblin returns.
Wake up……
The voice came through his mind in a whisper, leaking into Norman’s dreams. Quiet and taunting, it had a sing-song tone to it that grated on the ear.
Wakey-wakey Normie boy…..
Partially awake now, Norman shifted in his sleep, trying to ignore the annoyance; the part of him that was awake thinking that the radio had turned on with the alarm and that this was the voice of one of the DJ’s. It felt like too much effort to move his arm to turn it off, so he pulled the comforter over his head instead to drown it out.
WAKE UP!!
Wide awake now and startled, Norman sat up in his bed, blinking. That was not a DJ. Unfortunately he knew who it was, too. The voice was too familiar, having whispered, yelled and taunted in his mind for too long.
“Go away.” He muttered, throwing the covers off of him. There was no point in trying to sleep now, even though it was past midnight, so Norman got up and reached for his robe from where it lay on a chair near the bed. Maybe a drink or two would help and he could try to drown out the voice of the Goblin in his mind.
No way Normie. You’ve put up a good fight old boy, but that’s all over now. I’m through sitting in the background; it’s time for me to take the driver’s seat again. I just wanted you to be awake so you could watch and enjoy the ride….
Norman felt a wave of dizziness pass over him as he stood in his bedroom, and tried to fight it. Despite his best effort though, despite the drugs that he took almost religiously to try and keep the monster inside of him at bay, for some reason it didn’t work this time and he felt pain and horror as the monster shoved him aside, pushing his conscience into the back of his mind, where he could do nothing but watch as his body shifted and changed once more into that familiar, hideous form… ~~~
The Green Goblin stretched, enjoying the feeling of being in control again. Man, it had been boring sitting in the back of Norman’s mind, able to do nothing while Normie played at being a businessman. He was so much more than that, they both knew it, and it was just Norman’s tedious need to be ‘normal’ that kept them both back from being truly great. Well, that was all over now. The Green Goblin had been gathering his strength for some time now, waiting for the day when he felt strong enough to take the reins back into his own hands again. Now that day was here, and it was definitely worth the wait.
There was so much to do now, he didn’t quite know where to start. So much time had passed, the world had probably forgotten about old Gobby. Well it was definitely time to change that.
Grinning, the Goblin ran out of Norman’s bedroom, not caring that the man was just dressed in pajamas, and headed for the elevator. Down in the lowest level of the building Norman lived in was a storage room locked with the securest bolts that he could find. Having complete access to Osborn’s mind though, the Goblin knew the combination and so was able to get inside easily. Once inside, he looked around with a smug smile. Despite the drugs, despite Norman’s protests, he had to know that this day would happen eventually, right? Otherwise, why would he have bothered to keep all this here? For it was all here. The uniform, his beloved Goblin glider, even a supply of pumpkin bombs.
He cackled happily and grabbed the glider and bag of bombs, racing for the exit. It was too exciting to be out in the world as himself again, the way it should be. The glider worked just as well as ever and soon he was up in the air, coasting high up among the rooftops of the city. The Goblin grabbed a pumpkin bomb and looked down at the cars in the streets below, the city still busy even at this time of night. He let one loose and watched it fall.
“Oh, there’ll be a hot time on the old town tonight!” he sang out as it exploded with a satisfying roar of sound. Yeah, fine, okay, that was a line from the Joker, but the Goblin didn’t think the old boy would mind; in fact he’d probably appreciate the whole situation. Laughing, he did a flip on his glider. Oh, it was good to be back.

Lilith had been doing a lot of watching lately, she had seen Norman Osborn before. But she never made her presence known to him, since she was supposed to hate humanity. But there was much more to him, she was about to check on him when he burst out of his house. She knew Goblin was in control now, she growled some. She didn't like The Green Goblin, it was time to do something about this. Narrowing her eyes she followed him, and watched as he tried to destroy the city. She smirked some finding him interesting, then again things needed to stop.
She wasn't to sure what to do with him, she wasn't afraid of him hurting her. Since that would be impossible, unless he was like Sam Winchester and he wasn't. Following him, until he stopped and watched him blow up something. She was behind him, crossing her arms as she looked at him and was trying to figure out what to say to him, she was unsure of what to say. But then it just came to her, taking a deep breath she silently sighed and just stood there behind him, speaking to him.
"You spend to much time destroying things Goblin, you torture Norman and it's stupid, he wants something done with you and I can do something to you"
She said simply, almost in a hiss. She loved to cause trouble, but when it came to Norman and Jacob things had to become peaceful. She would protect her friend Jacob, and would try to do something to help Norman, but didn't know how to right now. Perhaps once she figured this "Man" out she could do something. She looked around, seeing no one around which was some what odd.

The Green Goblin stood on his glider, watching the chaos below that had resulted from his pumpkin bomb. He’d taken out two cars, and a third had been pushed by the force of the blow into another car. People were screaming, running around like ants in confusion and panic. Traffic was completely stopped in all directions and a crowd of people had gathered to gawk. He could see people on the sidelines whipping out cameras and phones to take pictures. His handiwork would be all over the internet in a matter of minutes. God, he loved modern technology.
He was enjoying the show, and debating on where to throw the next bomb, when he heard a voice behind him. Now that wasn’t right, given the fact that he was in midair. Had one of the city’s heroes found him this quickly? They’d certainly improved their response time if they had. Goblin wasn’t complaining though; he hadn’t expected to get to have some fun with them this soon. He turned around to see an unfamiliar face. A new hero in town? No matter, she’d find out who she was dealing with soon enough. Apparently she had done her homework well enough to know who he was. He grinned, glad to know that he wasn’t forgotten.
”Such a pretty little girl, are you sure you’re ready to play with the big boys yet? The Green Goblin asked tauntingly. ”And Norman doesn’t know what’s good for him. He tries to deny it, but I know he wanted this power, I’m just the one with the guts to use it.”

Lilith smirked some, when he asked if she was sure she wanted to play with the big boys. She closed her eyes then opened them, her eyes pitch white. "It's more like are you ready for me" With the snap of her fingers, a building exploded. She could be a very lose canon if she wished to be, her eyes returned to the brown color and smirked some. She looked at him crossing her arms, he was going to be a pain in the ass, she could feel that deep down in her gut, grinning some.
"You think hero's of your world is a pain in the ass? try someone from hell. " She said simply, and felt someone else near. She closed her eyes hearing everything around her. She wasn't sure who it was, she smiled some. "Someone else is here, someone else has come to play as you say" She said simply. She only cared about Jacob and maybe Norman. Everyone else could just go to hell for all she cared.

New York City really was something to behold with all the traffic and people. Nothing like back in Reefside, California. Yet here he was in the heart of the city due to taking up the task to check out the artifacts that Anton wanted for the museum he bought. So far for checking out things while arriving too late in the evening to go to the museum. It was good that Anton trusted him enough on his expertise on dinosaurs but Tommy had hoped this wouldn't cause Mesogog to attack with him gone.
Sure the other Rangers can take care of themselves and Mesogog's goons. They had until he got the Black Dino gem and ended up joining the team. Right now all he was doing was checking out the city to waste time until he went to bed and went to deal with what he came here for tomorrow. Having stepped out of a small restaurant that he had dinner at, Tommy groaned when he heard an explosion go off.
Being the hero, he ran in the direction of the blast while avoiding running into the hysterical people that were fleeing from the scene. Right now he wouldn't transform into the Black Dino Ranger until he knew what he was dealing with. Hopefully it was just some crazy person he could take down as himself. Reaching the scene caused him to come to a halt and survey the damage. Looks like only cars were mainly damaged.
He wasn't sure by what though. Tommy looked around to see no one out of the ordinary. So what had caused the sudden destruction?

The Green Goblin had thought the girl was just pretty, but when she made the building explode she suddenly became gorgeous. Now that was some nice power there. If she thought she was meant to be a hero, she was deluded. Clearly she could be having so much more fun with him. Clutching one hand to his heart, he sighed. ”I think I’m in love.” he exclaimed rapturously. ”Oh sweet maiden come away with me. Just think of the fireworks we could make. The world will never know what hit it!”
Caught up in what he hoped would be his new toy, Goblin wasn’t really paying attention to what was going on around him. It was just the continuing panic from his explosion anyway, and from the higher level that the screams below had reached, the people down there weren’t too crazy about her little trick either. She wasn’t much of a hero if she went around blowing up buildings like that. If she wasn’t a hero though, why was she trying to stop him? He didn’t recognize her at all, and neither did Norman, so why she was trying to help was completely beyond him, especially if she wasn’t one of the good guys.

She smirked some placing her hands on her hips, and was thinking more to herself then anything right now. Running her hand down her neck she sighed a bit looking at him. "I'm no hero, or anything like that, and I already have someone thanks. All you see me is a weapon. A toy for you to use, so I'm not going to be used by someone like you Gobby. As for why I'm helping, or trying to? I respect Norman Osborn, he is a man who doesn't deserve to be stuck with you. But it appears life has always been unfair."
Grinning some she did see another coming close to them, she could feel the man and who he was. It appeared that there was a lost more going on that they didn't know about. Relaxing a bit, she ran her fingers in her hair and sighed some, a power ranger? that was something new. She had never seen one, or know what they were. But she had a feeling that it was something that was powerful, thinking for a moment she didn't know what to think any more, things were content.
"Why don't you come out" She said to the guy who was around them.

When the building near the wreckage seemed to explode, Tommy ducked and moved away to keep from being hit by shrapnel. He knew monsters tend to wreck buildings for fun and to get the Power Rangers attention. Well it sure got him to look up to notice two beings – one on a machine and the other seemingly floating in mid-air - and inwardly sighed as his night just got interesting.
Mainly due to how the woman knew he was here. They weren't even paying much attention to the ground. So she had to be powerful to sense him. “Great. Two lunatics,†he said to himself. Zeltrax would be a welcoming sight compared to these two. He debated if he should turn into the Black Dino Ranger now or later.
It would probably be for the best to wait and see what they were going to do with him. The only person willing to stick around and remain calm in this type of situation. “I'm not hiding,†he shouted up to them. “Who are you, and let me guess, night time is your time to cause destruction?†Tommy kept his guard up as these two could do anything to him without warning.

The Green Goblin frowned when his goddess said that she had someone else. Not exactly the way things were supposed to go. He didn’t know what kind of guy she had, but frankly didn’t care. Whoever it was couldn’t possibly compare to the Green Goblin.
”A toy? You’re no toy, sweetheart.” he may be in the throes of lust but he still had no problem lying to her face. ”And if you think Normie doesn’t deserve me, who do you think created me in the first place? We were destined for this. You don’t think he doesn’t know that? He was keeping things prepared for my return, even while living in denial. Oh yes, he deserves me.” Gobby snickered, completely believing he was right.
The beautiful one was no longer paying attention to him though, and annoyed, he looked down to see what or who had the nerve to take her notice away from him. Down below on the street he saw a rather ordinary-looking guy. So ordinary, that the Goblin couldn’t figure out why she was even noticing him. Of course it was a little odd that the man didn’t seem scared and wasn’t running around screaming or taking pictures like everyone else, but maybe he was just too dumb to be scared.
The man asked who they were, and the Goblin smirked. Okay, so maybe some people didn’t remember who he was, but that was okay, tonight had been to show people he was back and to introduce the ones who had never seen him to the greatness that was the Green Goblin.
”I, am the Green Goblin, and this is….what is your name, beautiful?” he asked, realizing he didn’t even know her name yet.

Lilith sighed some at what he said and she listened to the introduction. She never gave anyone her name, but her friend Jacob. Landing on the ground, she thought for a moment. "I know what Norman wanted, something to make him stronger and faster. Not to have an ill tempered second personality" She wasn't to happy with him, and she let it be known as well. Norman wasn't a stupid man, but he shouldn't have tested what he created on himself. But right now as the darkness surrounded them, she decided for some fun.
Snapping her fingers, things exploded around the stranger. Clearing a path so he was showing to both Gob and herself. Placing her hands on her small waist she grinned some and sighed some. "My name is Lilith, first demon ever created. Daughter to Lucifer. And no I'm not making that up" She didn't know if Gob would believe her. Then again her powers packed one hell of a punch. She slowly made her way up to this stranger and knew who he was. She knew more about people then they wanted, grinning some she laughed a little bit.
"Awww I know who this is, course I know every human. I study you, every day just about. Your an interesting kind, some weak and some pack one hell of a punch"

Green Goblin? Well at least it wasn't as lame as some of the monsters he's fought before. Those were some pretty pathetic names. Yet this guy still dressed like it was Halloween for the most part. Standing his ground, he watched as the woman floated down to the ground and simply snapped her fingers to cause a few debris to explode in front of him.
Tommy shielded his eyes with his arm and lowered it after the spectacle was over with. No need to get blinded with shrapnel when he needs to deal with these people destroying the city. Plus back home he would still need to deal with Mesogog. It was bad enough when he was in that coma for a little while.
“Heh. At this point I'll believe you're really the daughter of Lucifer,†said Tommy as he had always figured Lucifer was a myth. Even with all the aliens and monsters he has fought over the years. “So what will it take to get you two to stop destroying this city?†A nice question to ask a villain and maybe they will give a nice answer.
A hopeful thought, really. One Tommy is ready to hear that it won't end up in a fight to get them to stop. “That sounds a little creepy if you study us all the time. How would you even be able to do that?†he said to Lilith.

The Green Goblin glared at her. Despite her delicious looks, and that fun power of hers, he was getting a little irritated. Who the hell was she, to keep going on about what Norman wanted? She talked as if she and Normie-boy were the best of buds; well, he knew everything that Norman knew, and neither of them had ever seen her before in their life. She certainly had a lot of nerve, and if she wasn’t going to play nice with him, then he didn’t have to put up with it.
She gave herself a nice dramatic little introduction, but Gobby wasn’t sure if he believed it. Sounded good though. ”Devil’s daughter, eh? Well you’re certainly an unholy terror.” he snickered maliciously. Maybe he could call her….Hellspawn. No, wait, that was taken already, even if she did look a lot better than the comic book character. ”And I don’t care who got your mommy pregnant, you don’t know squat about Normie. I am Norman. Everything he wanted to be, with a little extra tacked on as a bonus.” The Goblin said, winking at her. ”Everyone’s talking about going green these days, well here I am, baby. Once you go green, you never go back.”
He had to laugh when the man asked what it would take to get them to stop destroying the city. It was funny to have someone just come out and ask nicely. Completely useless of course, but definitely funny.
”What makes you think I want to stop? Or that you could do anything to make me?” he asked, still laughing. ”Nice to see a new hero out here though, some fresh blood is good sometimes. Have you stopped to think though, that I’m actually doing the city a favor? Think of all the jobs that will be created, having to fix all this when I’m done?” With one more laugh, the Green Goblin pulled out another pumpkin bomb from his sac and threw it straight at the stranger.

She laughed at Goblin, and rolled her eyes at him. He had no idea just what she could do, then looking back at Tommy she crossed her arms. "I have been on earth for many years, Ive taken on hundreds of forms. I am formless, Ive taken over Normans friends so I know more then you think. I only work with one, and my father can stay in hell for all I care. As for how I study humans all the time, I have eyes and ears that work for me. And you don't want to piss me off Goblin.
You find me annoying, someone delicious looking but if you cannot control me. You will find me annoying, I have more power then you do Goblin. Only thing you have are your stupid little toys, you maybe faster and stronger. But you wouldn't last two minutes with me, without your stupid toys. Osborn's genius is not yours, you were a mistake. But any way talking to you is like talking to a brick wall, one who just stands there. If you were a real bad ass you would have killed spiderman by now and have you no I think not."
Now Lilith was starting to become a bitch, felt good. Since the human she cared for never saw this side of her toward him, she could be open with these two. Tho this Tommy was different, she crossed her arms enjoying the look of him. But wondered where his friends were, it surprised her that he was alone like this.

Tommy shook his head when things weren't going to be easy. It was just a matter of time when either one decided to attack. Green Goblin's answer to his question was not what he was expecting. “But you're also hurting people in the process! So it's not about making jobs,†said Tommy, clearly annoyed. Every villain just had to injure people and it seemed highly on purpose most times.
He would try to stop him if it came down to it but he was not so sure he could take on Lilith as well. The daughter of Lucifer is bound to be more challenging than anything he has faced before. Plus she did say she is formless, so if he did manage to kill this body she is in now it would only mean she would be back sooner or later. How did one stop or kill someone this powerful?
“Spiderman?†Arching a brow, the science teacher had never heard of this guy before. Although if Green Goblin really had not killed him yet then he knew why. It was almost the same between him and Zeltrax. Mainly how Zeltrax keeps focusing on him in battles. “Well he could just want to keep Spiderman around. Probably would feel empty without him to fight on a daily basis. The whole archenemy gig has it's own unwritten rules.â€

Okay, he had thought she was cute, but looks can only go so far and now the pretty little demon, or whatever the hell she was, was really starting to annoy him. Yak yak yak, ‘I’m the devil’s daughter’, blah blah blah, ‘I’m so powerful’ yadda yadda. Whatever. He bet old Normie never knew he had such a hottie as a member of the Osborn Fan Club. Too bad she didn’t know when to stop talking. And did she really have to bring up Spiderman?
”Didn’t your mama, whatever she was, tell you that guys don’t like girls who talk too much?” The Green Goblin asked. ”No wonder that pretty little finger ain’t got a ring on it.”
Now this other kid, he understood how the game worked. Sure, Gobby could kill Spiderman, but where was the fun in that? Every good villain needed an arch-nemesis. Moriarty had Sherlock Holmes, The Joker had Batman, The Master had The Doctor, and he himself had Spiderman. If he went and killed Spidey, some other hero would come and try to step into the webslinger’s shoes, and he’d have to go through all the work of learning about the new guy.
The Goblin shrugged when the kid complained about him hurting people. ”So a few people don’t make it home tonight. Do you have any idea what a major overpopulation problem we’ve got right now? And people are trying to outlaw birth control and abortion! I’m just doing my part to help. Yeah, it ain’t PC and it ain’t pretty, but it gets the job done.” Then he grinned. ”You’re pretty smart though, kid. You seem to know the rules. I bet you got a few enemies of your own, don’t you?"
